Substance use Disorder

“It is never too late to be what you might have been.”

-George Eliot

ISAT’s substance use disorder treatment program is based on helping clients understand that they can change chemical abuse patterns and associated cognitive distortions and thinking errors, while increasing feelings of self-control, self-worth, and empowerment. Objectives focus on helping clients identify cycles of behavior and learn stress management and sobriety skills, in addition to communication, mindfulness, problem solving, and relapse prevention skills. We understand that addressing underlying trauma in a safe environment is key to helping individuals struggling with substance use disorder.
